We are seeking a highly motivated and diligent individual to join our reputable law firm as a Junior Associate. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for supporting senior attorneys in various legal matters including research, drafting legal documents, attending client meetings, and assisting in trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases or assignments
• Assist senior attorneys in drafting pleadings, contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
• Attend client meetings alongside senior attorneys to gain exposure to the intricacies of client representation
• Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and provide recommendations based on thorough analysis
• Assist in reviewing and summarizing depositions, witness statements, and other discovery materials

Requirements:

• Law degree from an accredited law school
• Member of the Philippine Bar
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience working in a law firm or similar setting is preferred

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong analytical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in conducting legal research using various databases and online resources such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
• Ability to work effectively both independently or as part of a team
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines
